Short CV

My principal research interests lie in the field of Philosophy and History of Sciences and particularly in the notion of time in Physics. I am currently investigating the notion of accuracy in astronomy and its history from the 16th to the 19th century working in the Observatory of Paris (SYRTE) in the project entitled: Accuracy of the measures and mobility of astronomers.
My future research plans are to investigate the accuracy in the measurement of time in the 17th century. How did the idea of accuracy, related in the beginning of what we call “new science”, influence the transformation of time in physics as a notion and parameter?
