This book is the contribution of the History of Science Programme of the National Hellenic Research Foundation to the project of bilateral cooperation between Serbia and Greece. This project aims to study the scientific relations between these two countries of South-eastern Europe.
The book is divided in two parts: a) the scientific thought in the Greek intellectual area during the 19th century, b) sciences within the independent Greek State. The book presents a bibliography on the cultural relations between Greece and Serbia during the 19th century.
