First Thematic Workshop: "The Antikythera Mechanism:"

The workshop will twelve world renowned experts, including members of the original research team.

Amongst them, Prof. Theodosios Tassios, National Technical University of Greece and President of the Society for Ancient Greek Technology Studies, Prof. Robert Halleux, University of Liège and member of the Académie des Inscriptions et Belles-Lettres, Dr Paolo Brenni, president of the International Commission for Scientific Instruments, Dr. Tony Freeth, member of the Antikythera Mechanism Research Project, Prof. Liu Dun, Institute for the history of science, Chinese Academy of Science and president of the Division of History of Science and Technology of the International Union of History and Philosophy and Science.

It will be addressed by Ronald Numbers, Hildale Professor of the University of Wisconsin and past President of the Division of History of Science and Technology of the International Union of History and Philosophy and Science.
