We know the physics is one of the fundamental sciences of modern natural sciences. That is why study of its historic development is a necessary part of the formation process of the modern scientist. Today the task of fundamental education of new generation of experts who can fast orientate themselves in a global information and cultural field and to define the most perspective directions in a science, engineering and industry is extremely urgent. One of the important ways of the decision of this problem is the creation of innovation educational courses such as «History of Physical Concepts Development». Our report is devoted to innovation course, which has been taught at the National Technical University of Ukraine «Kyiv Polytechnic Institute» for 8 years. This course was created in collaboration with the experts in science history studies from G.M.Dobrov Center for Scientific and Technological Potential and Science History of NAS of Ukraine.
First of all the fifth course students of Physics and Mathematics Department study course «History of Physical Concepts Development».
The students of the first and second courses, which are studying only «General Physics» use materials for individual work. Thus, the active use of materials for the course «History of the Physical Concepts Development» allows future scientists and engineers to learn their subject of study in the context of the development of world science.
